How much does the DPC membership cost? $125/month per child (depending on location). There is a one-time enrollment fee of $50. No co-pays, no surprise bills, just a simple monthly membership for direct access to me, your pediatrician!
What area do you serve? Right now we do home visits anywhere within a 25-minute radius of HyVee in Brooklyn Park MN. This includes Plymouth, Maple Grove, Dayton, Rogers, New Hope, Golden Valley, Blaine, Anoka, and Coon Rapids. Additional locations available for fee. Contact us with questions.
Can I use my HSA/FSA to pay for the membership? Absolutely! You can use any credit/debit card or HSA/FSA card to automatically bill monthly.
Do I still need to have insurance? Yes! Dr. Laura with Juna Pediatrics is your pediatrician and covers all primary care needs (including texting, telehealth, and in-home well and sick visits) through the monthly membership. Emergency medical needs that require a higher level of care, hospital stays, labs, imaging, medications, and vaccines will still be covered by your insurance.
Are you really available 24/7? Yes, with a couple caveats. If you believe your child is having a medical emergency, you should call 911. If you have a non-urgent question/concern or would like to schedule a well child visit, I am available during regular office hours (M-F 9a-3p) or you can book online. I will try to give you advance notice when I am unavailable (for family trips, doctor appointments, etc). I am a human and a busy mom and I trust you to respect my time as I will respect yours. Aside from that, if you have an urgent question about your child, I want you to call!
What services do you provide (i.e. evaluations, treatments, procedures)? As part of your monthly membership I provide pediatric primary care services, including but not limited to regular well child checks, sports physicals, acute care visits (like ear infections, strep throat tests/treatment, etc), and simple sutures (stitches). Book a one-time sick visit for $297 here! Available most Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday afternoons.
Is there a cancellation fee? Nope! If your family moves, your situation changes unexpectedly, or you simply don't feel like it's the right fit for your family, I will still be available for your child's care for the rest of the month as you transition to another provider. A 7 day notice is required prior to billing cycle, or a 3% administration fee will be charged.
